Default HELP!!! its a 94 hatch

well my bro bought a 94 hatch n the car idles high,reverse lights don't turn on when on reverse, and when pressing brakes cruise control turns on. Anyone know wat can i do to fix any of these problems??

how high does it idle? reverse lights... check the fuse and cruise, sounds like a malfunction in the brake switch

it idles on 2-3 on the rpm band....as for reverse lights it aint the fuses...n i mean u press the break pedal n cruise control turns on..

Have u tried checking the reverse light sensor? i forget the right name for it but its underneath the distributer and it goes right into the tranny. just a simple 2 wire thing.

OP needs to check for voltage at the reverse lights(if he knows how) No voltage means bad reverse light switch, if there is voltage it would mean there is either a bad ground or two burnt out bulbs.
