...my car was running fine till I yanked out the y8 and swapped in a complete y8. I used the full d16y8 engine harness and the stock p2p ecu.

Hooked up all the sensors, got all the fluids changed, no start. Nothing. All I get when the key is in the ignition is the beeping sound.

I get no dash lights, I get no spark, I get no fuel. My fuel pump doesn't even sound like it turns on. All the fuses are good. Checked those.

*sigh*

I need my car running, I start school soon. All my grounds are to the stock locations too!

Any help is much appreciated. Oh yah, I searched first, then made the post!

 

bad power wire to starter/fuse panel? dead battery? check you have 12 volts at the battery. Check the fuses.

 

Checked all that. Gave up and yanked the obd2b harness out and swapped in the obd2a harness and just gonna wire vtec and knock and pressure switch.

The obd2b harness into the driver side was different, some wires were missing. But that may be because the dizzy is different, but I have no idea. I know this harness works cherry and I know the motor starts, so hopefully it works.
