Another jdm ek mirror question....

I've searched but came up with nothing... I was wondering if anyone has tried or have fitted any usdm mirrors to a jdm ek folding mirror base plate?

its not the glass that is different it is the actual mirror and how it mounts, yes it fits on the car but the angle of the mirror is quite different. I have jdm ctr mirrors on my hatch, had the glass replaced in them to american glass and it made no difference. I eventually just was able to angle to an angle that works for me.

I'm not talking about the glass... I'm talking about the whole shell itself, mounting on a ek base plate?

that is also not possible they are two totally different mirrors.
