what gear lube do i use?
I have a 94 EX that im putting pack together it has a Z6 what kind of gear lube is the best to use and how much so i need thanks also if anybody knows do they sell new t-stat housing at parts stores
i doubt they sell t-stat housing at the parts store, best place to get one would be at a junkyard. and are you taking about "gear lube" for your trans? if so go to the dealership and get honda fuild for it or try sycromesh.

Heh!
Red Line MTL (winter) and/or MT-90 (summer). Exclamation point! (same chemistry - some racers mix them together)
Been running them both for years with GREAT success - never had a tranny failure yet!
My Honda dealer sells Red Line MTL, but they don't stock MT-90, sooo...
I buy it at a local speed shop (Loper's in Phoenix) but any speed shop should carry it - $14/qt around here, but you only need 2 quarts in a D-series tranny.

Negatory on that one captain, AC Delco, (GM Parts,) makes GM Synchromesh Friction Modified, (which is the best one to get,) and you can order it straight from your local GM parts department. I just got a case of 6 2 weeks ago for $47

from one of your very own honda tech moderators:
gm synchromesh is supplied by pennzoil, its the same **** you get in yellow bottles at advance.
what you're looking for is gm sychromesh friction modified, which has been discontinued.
if you search there are TONS OF POSTS on this topic, and also lists a website that still had some as of a few months ago.
