Need spring/shock suggestion
I have a 98 GSR, NA, mildly built daily driver. I do however seen some weekend drag use. What would be a better spring/shock upgrade. I was looking at some skunk2 shocks with H&R sportline springs. Or should I go with a stiffer rear spring since the car will see some weekend drag use?
Depends on how serious you want to be!
A drag specific rear spring is going to be KILLER on the streets...close to 1,000 lbs/in rates. This isnt very safe to drive on either.
An awesome combo is Koni Yellows and Ground Control. You can get a higher sprig rate for the rear, like 500 lbs/in, which will help with launch squat and won't be nasty for street use.
Or you could roll Eibach springs on whatever shock you like, and swap out the rear at the track for your drag coilovers

I was looking into the GC coilovers with maybe 350F/450R spring rates on the S2 shocks.
Do you happen to know what the Eibach sportline or H&R sportline spring rates are?
I also forgot to mention, I dont want more than 2" drop. 1.5-1.8 would be ideal cause the roads here aren't that great at work.
