Carbon Hood and Trunk
I'm looking to drop the weight of my '04 V6 coupe by picking up an carbon OEM hood and trunk, and had a couple questions:
1. It comes with a clearcoat. Will I be able to rough this up and primer then paint to match my existing color? Or will the paint start to peel off the base clearcoat?
2. Will I be able to set up the parts so they will latch in place like the originals? I want a completely stock look, so I don't want to use the hood pins/cables or anything.
3. Will the parts come pre-drilled or will I have to do this work?
4. Anyone know a good sight? I've been looking at about $400 and $600 for the hood and trunk respectively.
Thanks,
Chris
