88 ef d16z. cranks over, i got spark, but no fuel delivery. i checked all the fuses and changed the fuse relays. ran fine one day then didnt run at all 4 days later. the battery was dead, got it charged, blew 2 fuses, changed em, still wont start. fuel pump gone? any way to test the fuel pump w/o pulling it?

 

In all the EFs u can get to the fuel pump by pulling off the rear seat (not sure if it applies for the crx!). From there you can test if its getting any juice, if not try spraying starter fluid into the air intake and try to start it, if it runs for a sec and then dies it could be that your pump is garbage or your fuel filter is cloged!

 

you want to know if ur main relay and fuel pump are working? its very ez and u dont need to even get your hands dirty.
1. sit in the driver seat
2. turn the key to position 2 (not engine, but a/c and stereo on)
3. u will hear a click (main relay) and half second hum (fuel pump) while the engine light is on.

if u dont hear either one of those, there is ur problem.
