Hearing a loud ticking noise from my 99 civic ex coupe auto

What can it be? valves need to adjusted? its an auto with 136k on it
just noticed it today

yeah its your valves prob does need valve adujusment shouldn't be too bad just get feeler gauges

Most likley its the valves. if u do them urself ur goin need feeler gauge and u need to have the cylinder that ur goin to adjust at bottom dead center. good luck
