Default Dohc ZC transmission gear not enaging?

Will incorrect axle cause a transmission to not go into gear? With the car off, I'm able to shift into into any gears, once the car is started, It won't let me get into gears, all the gears somehow closed up. Any advice? What to check? Incorrect axle? Something loose?

Owning a crx is one problem after another, but I'm glad I got the engine to run. Now I just have to troubleshoot why it won't let me go in gear.

axles have nothing to do with it not shifting - sounds to me like you have a clutch problem, not a transmission problem - the clutch is not disengaging - is it adjusted correctly? was the disc installed correctly?

We'll as far as the clutch goes on the zc lsd transmission, all I did was unbolt the transmission and took off the pressure plate along with the clutch to examine the flywheel's surface, clutch and pressure plate, it looks good to me, so I put everything back in the same order. At the time I didn't have a new throw-out bearing so I used the old one along with the pilot bearing.

I had this problem before with my 91 Integra when I put a new clutch, I forced the shift *** into 1st gear when it didn't let me and it went in reverse and back into the kitchen garage door!! So this weekend, I'm going to unbolt the transmission and check out the pressure plate, clutch, flywheel, and also repalce the pilot bearing, throw-out bearing and grease it alittle. This isn't my first engine swap, just my first Dohc ZC swap. I work for a JDM Engine Importer in Centeral California.
