we found a b18a1 real cheap and were told by the seller that it would easily work in a 94 integra. We have found that the wiring harness is actually quite different. Does anyone know the best solution to this? we have plugs on both ends engine side and ecu side that are different we have roughly 7-9 plugs that are different.

any help would be greatly appreciated..

 

Do you still have the motor from the 94? If so just take the distributor and intake manifold along with anything else with a different plug and put it on the b18a. If you dont have the old motor then go to a junk yard and find a old integra and pull the plugs off that you need. Then look up the wiring online and create your own harness.

 

theres not that much diffrent all you need is the engine harnness from the 94 engine and the dc's ecu the engines are the sames in almost every way you may want to change throttle bodys and dizzy and header those part you reuse from the dc....also you may have to use the dc's driver side motor mount and its a bit nicer i think the fan switch may be in a diffrent location like on the back of the engine b18a1.... insted on the thremost stat housing you may have to lenthen some wires and cant think of much more may be the iat sensor wire lenth
