okay so im new to the prelude family, and i just recently got a 2001 prelude.. and im kinda learning all about it and such. but see the thing is a bunch of people ask me if its a type SH, and im not sure what to tell them.. bc it has a different motor then what came in it... the motor is a H22A4. so basically what im asking is what kinda motor is that!?? and is it an SH? haha.

is there anyway u can like paste a picture of the difference's? bc when i got the car the trunk had been repainted and such, and the guy that had the car first i guess did quite a few things to it.

okay the body looks like the base but what about the motor, its an h22a4? whats that all about haha.

 

theyre both h22a4 regardless of base or SH... look to the left of the H22A4 stamp.. there should be a sticker with M2_4-02938109381209381 or something. if u see M2U4, its an SH, if u see M2Y4 its base (i think..) im sure M2U4 is SH tho

 

hmm okay. ill take a loot at that tomorrow i just needa to figure that out bc idk how many ppl have been askin me about it. buuut thanks a lott.
