Default b18b1 head on b20b or b20z block

Ok, I'd like to know if my b18b1 head will directly bolt up to the B20b OR b20z.

Ive done a ton of searching here, and thru google.

Im recieving mixed answers.

From what ive read the b18 and b20 head are the same.

So with a b20 block and b18 head, i would probably use the b20 gasket because of 84 mm and not 81 mm, right?
Same oil pump and water pump, and a timing belt, ecu for b20 or b18?

Let me know!

i'll share some of what i assume i know since no one has answered yet...

your b18b head will bolt up to a b20b, not sure about the z.

use the gasket for the block your using, OEM of course.

you can use the same oil and water pump. if you were going vtec use vtec pumps.

now my ?'s... why not go ls/vtec? why not go b18 bottom? ive heard negative things about cylinder walls in b20s for higher hp ratings.
