Default rear lower tie bar dosn't fit right...

i have a 95 dx hatch and a ST rear anti sway bar. i have to put washers inbetween the frame and the tie bar, and use a longer bolt. the lower bolts where the sway bar mounts are in the way of the tie bar.

has anyone else run into a similar problem, or if you have the same sway bar and your tie bar fits, what tie bar are you using? and after installing a sway bar does the tie really do anything?

thanks

the st sway bars were not meant to fit with any aftermarket tie bars at all. as a matter of fact if you buy a neuspeed rear lower tie bar the instructions explain that the tie bar will not work with st sway bars...

don't worry we made st sway bars work with neuspeed tie bars with two different cars...not an issue.

to be continued...

did you have to alter the st sway bar brackets?

thats kinda what i did. i took the spacers out of the lower bolts and used them on the tie bar, with 12x100 mm bolts.

My rear sway bar didn't fit right either, it had a 1/4inch gap from the bar and control arms and it hit my exhaust too. (Addco) Finally a longer spacer and bolt was put in, which worked, but now my car creaks on turns.-- .
