I can't post in the general discussion forum because I'm only a "Trail User" (whatever). So yall gotta deal with a non-performance question in a performance forum.

I'm thinking of buying a used Honda or Acura. Civic, or Integra, hatchback, 2-door, 4-door, dont care. I want to know what years of what models have the most reliable, most bulletproof engine and drivetrain combos. I'm looking for a pre-1998, cheap, 150k+ miles, BEATER. I want something that is no frills, it will not be raced, dont care about performance, just mileage. Just a beater to get from point A to point B with the least amout of maintenance and work.

Any suggestions? Thx

 

bulletproof sounds overkill for a basic means of transportation.

Least amount of maintanence doesn't match too well with 150k+.
