That's too much light IMHO. The unlit areas look even more dark because of the contrast, to the point where you can't see ANYTHING beyond what is lit by the projector beam pattern. Pretty unsafe IMHO.
OP, you need to adjust the cutoffs of each projector so that the high side of the "step" is level on both sides, and the low side of the "step" is level on both sides. There should not be 3 distinct levels in the cutoff.

It just looks really bright because i'm in dark alley.. doesn't look too bright, but bright enough..


in this pic, the passenger side is a bit low..but the reason why you are seeing what you are seeing, is because its color modded, so the right so slopes down..(haven't gotten around to removing the color mod) so when the color mod is removed, my top cutoff on the passenger lines up with the driver side, and same with the bottom cut off line.. i'm very aware of how to set the cut off line. thanks

a closer pic shows that the top cut off line is dipping down to the right, if it wasn't color modded, it'll be lined up. thanks for the input

yea I know, I was referring to the guy talking about using 50W ballasts. That's just too much IMHO.
