How do you take the rolling door handle off?

How do you take the rolling door handle off?
Im trying to take my door panel off the drivers side CRX DOOR 88 have it unlatched and everything but the door handle.. Do i take a flathead and pry out in that slot?? Any help would be great

heres a lil trick i learned grab a shop rag with both hands and slide it behind the handle with the **** facing down and move the rag back and fourth till it just falls out but be carefull not to lose the clip it will go flying

I've been using this trick for years. Every since someone on HT told me about it haha
Works perfectly every time and you never have to worry about scratching up your door panels.
