Default Suspension questions 97 civic

What's up guys. I was just wondering if you guys can tell me what a decent street suspension setup would be for my 97 civic at a fair price. I bottom out everywhere i go, and my car feels like i'm riding on wooden wheels, i feel every little bump on the road. I don't know much about suspension, i'm currently riding on some cheapy adjustable springs with oem struts. I'd like to still be able to lower my car somewhat, but not have to worry so much about bottoming out all the time. So if you guys can please give me some suggestions on a decent adjustable spring and strut setup it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How low is your car, and what do you consider a "fair price"?

Well I just purchased some Tokico Illuminas for a little under $400. Now I need to find a decent spring. I heard Tein springs go well with the illumina struts? How low can I go and still get full performance from my strut and spring setup? Also, what spring do you guys recommend? I do want my car lowered, but if it's going to to be at the expense of performance, i'd rather my drop not be so intense. Thanks guys!

if you just want a lowering spring i suggest you go with RS*R race springs. i had them for many years before i upgraded to ground control. its much better than the neuspeed race springs i had before that. otherwise, if you wanna pay a few dollars more i think you should go for the GCs since itll prepare you for the future if you need to upgrade spring rates.

im also looking to redo my entire suspension in my 97 civic coupe. i have a fibreglass body kit on it. currently have coils, which bagged out my shocks. ive heard a lot about the koni shocks, and tein springs. wondering whats the best way to go. only looking for about 2" drop. i do not want coilovers again. clean lowered suspension with comfort.
