Default K24 throttle body different than K20?

Got a question for you K series guys

I have a K24 that I built for a buddy and he brought me a Bdl throttle body to put on it and for some reason it doesnt even come close to fitting.

the box does say K series, and all the sensors transfered over to it. but the bolt hole spacing is different, like a tiny bit wider

Its not a TSX motor, with the drive by wire, and off the top of my head i cant remember if its an accord or an element engine. i matched up the 2 gaskets and there is no way this BDL unit is goin on the manifold

anyone know if its just the wrong throttle body? or are they different from k20 to k24?

thak you

i just bought a civic with a k swap in it. has a bdl throttle body. all i've heard is they're pretty useless on these engines and hp gains are like 1-2. the one on mine is horrible too. the throttle body is either fully open or closed. it makes it really hard to drive. stick with the stock one

BDL = Garbage Lots of sticking issues I hear.

They do make an adapter plate though.
