b18c5 into 96 hatch ecu questions
Hi,
More traffic here, so I thought I'd get more opinions. What are the benefits in putting in a jdm itr ecu vs. chipped p28 vs. usdm itr ecu?
I know the usdm itr ecu will give a check engine light right?
Thanks!

If you run the chipped P28 you won't have the annoying speed limiter that JDM ECU's have, you won't need knock woired up but you will need a jumper harness (From OBD2 to OBD1) for the civic ECU to work.

112-120 mph. Its annoying as will find out because you get there very quick (Esp. running someone on the hwy)
like every one said here speed limiter is gone and you can make it so the knock is gone but there are more programs that you can get for it then just that such as rev limiter gone, vtec change over and what not so I say go with the chiped p28 and heres a link to a site that chips ecu's http://www.hyperducktuning.com/ I'v search and I think they have the best prices and just look at all the programs they have
