Default Trunk leaks in 2001 Prelude

Just bought a 2001 Prelude. First rainstorm, trunk is full of water. Found the drain under the spare, but cannot determine where water is coming in at. Is this typical for this year Prelude? Any ideas on where water is coming in at?

that is interesting. I had given up on fixing the problem and had thought I checked everything. that is the fist time I heard of replacing the gaskets good call

Default Trunk leak isolation

OK, I sealed the taillight gaskets with silicone seal. I poured water down both moonroof rear drains, and verified that as the tubes run thru the trunk area on thier way to dump under the rear quarter panel, that they were not clogged and they run freely (and do not leak in the trunk). So next big rainstorm (or carwash), I'll see if any of this fixed the 'water in the trunk' problem.

Underneath the rear bumper on each side are two vents. They may leak as well, check those.
