is it possible to have a sub with a stock 1991 civic si deck. i dont want to change the oem deck, but im thinking about getting a small 8" sub.

is a line out converter the same as a high-to-low converter?

ur going to need a high to low converter to get subs with a stock deck.

No, I believe you are thinking of a low pass filter. Most amps have these built into them and he probably would not need one.

He needs the line output converter, or an amplifier with one built in.

line out converter and high to low converter are the same thing. You wire up the speaker wires to the converter, and you get female rca leads for your rca cables
