does anyone out there know if the itr dc5 came out with brembo slotted discs. there is sum1 selling new honda discs that's apparently brembo slotted one's that's factory fitted . my itr when i got it on low mileage had plain discs. which is the original?

Correct ... the stock front rotor for the DC5-R was a blank Brembo disc

 

just found out that when the dc5 went on sale in japan, the buyer was given the option of buying the car with brembo slotted discs. these brembo discs were only available thru honda. these are the discs that i am desperately looking for. or at least the honda part no. preferably front and rear.

 

88rotors sells the brembo slotted rotors. I just installed them in my brothers Integra. I don't know if they are the exact ones honda sells for the dc5r, but they are brembos and they are slotted.
