Default Rain-X

Is it okay to use Rain-X window cleaner + rain repellant on the 2008 Civic windows? Has anyone had any bad experiences with applying it?

It works, but be warned if you Rain-X your front windshield you can't use your wipers, otherwise you'll spread a nasty white film all over the windshield.

I use the Rain-X washer fluid, love it!! You don't have to re-apply it by hand, just pull the lever and Rain-X is applied to the windshield

Using Rain-X is fine on your wipers. I don't see any white film.

This is the one I use:

Rain-X is ***. I just clean my windows ever so often with a good window cleaner then hand wax it like I do the rest of the car. Also when I am just wiping the car down with the Eagle One Nano wax in between a real wax, I spray it on the windshield. It cleans it as well as totally beading the water off. WAY better than Rain-X. Each to their own i guess. But it works well for me. Also the wax has UV repelling qualities.
