Default Supercharger Vs. Stock re-sale value

Hey guys, I have been reading up on superchargers and Im thinking about putting one on the R. It wouldn't be for a while. Since a lot of you have been here a while, how does that effect the value of the car? If I ever wanted to sell it or needed to sell it I don't want to be stuck in a hole. Thanks.

I have one. When the time comes just take it out and put it back to stock, never get rid of stock parts.

It only effects the value if you are in a rush to sell. All it takes is the right buyer which usually means the waiting game. The reason stock ITRs sell faster is because there is a bigger martket for stock ITRs.

So true, no one wants a car that has been messed around with,
especially after reading this nightmare:

Yeah, but it was still supercharged, even if the buyer wanted it stock, the engine was messed with. Not that you were suggesting it, but I wouldn't lie and say it was always stock.

That makes sense, I guess if it is all done right with no problems, it should sell to the right guy. Thanks for the valid point.

yeah and its easier to sell a stock itr over modified etc,
it seems people want to paint there on blank canvas to their liking...
but it is so easy to return it back to stock and say its never been modded.
and like said above always keep stock parts which ive done with every factory parts replaced with mugen parts. cuz ya never know

I would never do that. I think I may skip it until I am in a better financial situation. Then maybe. I just got my fogs so if this hurricane doesn't blow me away theyre going in.
