spring rate help
I am looking to do a suspension overhaul on my 93 hatch and I am needing some advice on spring rates. I will be purchasing koni yellow/ GC combo. I drive my car every day, and the roads here are pretty smooth. I need a spring rate that will be good for mountain runs, occasional track day and every day street driving. I dont want to be beat to death driving it also. I am currently running tokico hp's and eibach springs and the setup seems to be getting tired and bouncy. I will be installing stock LS front and rear sway bars on the car as well as new bushings. Also, I am running a 15/16" wheel setup on the car, I will be running the 16's in the front fyi.
I'm running GC's 350F/300R and it seems a little too soft for my liking, but then again I have my kid strapped in the back 50% of my driving time. It's definately a good DD setup. I'd say if you have nice flat roads with no potholes to worry about, get 450/400 and call it a day. That's what I'd do if I was to get another set of coils.
im running 450f/600r ers springs on koni yellows and the ride is rough but its fabulous on the track.
i suggest you 350f/450r to rid the car of some understeer. also a 22mm itr sway bar will help the rear rotate in the turns.

What is the likelyhood of getting some unwanted snapping in the rain with those rates? I guess I should just drive slower.
