I figured it was about time to take some updated photos of my Husky SMR510 so I went out with a couple of friends last night to take a few quick photos. Nothing fancy, just wanted to have some photos of the bike with all the latest changes.

Did you often go on rides with a rear stand in toe?

i want one so bad!!!! How does it compare to a 600cc supersport as far as acceleration. do those thing come with a kick stand? how much did that bike cost you? thanks

There is only one dealer in Idaho so I had to pay full MSRP and the dealer almost couldn't even get one. It's an 07 but if you get an 08 with fuel injection that might be the way to go. Gas tank is about 1/2gal smaller because of the fuel pump and I'm not sure on the pricing.

If your lucky you might find a dealer with a left over 07 for around ~$7,200 or so that would ship it to you. Parts are easy to find and this thing is easy to work on.

Yes it comes with a kick stand. You can actually see it in some of the photos I just like to take pictures with the bike upright on the swingarm stand. Stock headlight sucks, this one if from Acerbis. I swapped for a motocross rear fender and bolted on a WR450F tail light.

Thanks. I love the helmet. It is a blessing having a visor and a sheild.

I am not crazy about the headlight but it is way better (brighter) than stock and I couldn't really find anything I liked all that well.

 

I've heard parts for those have been hard to come by since the BMW takeover.

I have heard the same but haven't needed anything recently. I think they are supposed to have everything sorted out shortly. Dealers like Halls and Motoexotica usually have a lot of basic stuff in stock.
