We've been through this before. They made coupes in Japan.

If I was to purchase japanese memorabilia would be for the sole purpose to collect. I mean you drive with your hood close right ?
I wouldn't find anything to brag about a vin # !

they made coupes in japan but the vins sure didnt say eg6..they said ej1 and ej2 just like they did here..
well the guy asked a simple question so he deserves a simple answer.
next time if you dont want to be flamed, simply ask where can you purchase rivets?

well anyways that stuff for the ej is pretty hard to get.

This has got to be the worst ideas ever (aside from a guy who wanted a jdm front clip frame welded onto his usdm car). IT IS A FELONY TO CONCEAL OR CHANGE THE STOCK VIN THAT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THE CAR. I guess you could go thru the trouble and get new registration and everything but i don't think they would go for it. My best friend dyed the dash on his 90 teg white and painted over the VIN. he got pulled over for expired tags and they had to go thru some huge process of verifying his car and checking engine numbers and everything. There is NO way I would ever do this only to be pulled over and have my car impounded because they think i stole it.
