New project: 1994 GSR built ITR, 98+ conversion
About 2 years ago I got rid of my fully built/turbo'd 94 integra rs. Since then I've always missed the car and wanted to build another. A month ago I got the chance to pick up a project car fairly cheap, the body needs some work but the interior/motor/trans/suspension are all near perfect. I will have pics soon, since I got the car I have added 98+ headlights, a 98+ front bumper, itr lip, amber corners, 98+ rear bumper. I also have oem replica sides and rear valances I am debating on using. Today I started on some of the body work and fixed one side of the "honda rust" and all the dents/dings on the same quarter panel. On to the good stuff:
GSR block
81mm bore

new rings
ACL race bearings (Rod and main)
New Type R oil pump
New Type R water pump
Type R head
Street Master port by Alaniz Technologies ($1100 port job)
Supertech valves
Toda Springs
Toda Retainers
Toda Spec C cams
Toda cam gears
Power Enterprises Timing belt
Cometic head gasket
NGK Blue plug wires
Type R Intake manifold and throttle body
Custom ERL fuel rail
Earls fuel line fittings
AEM fuel pressure regulator
RC 310 Injectors
Generic short ram with K&N filter
USDM Type R LSD Transmission
4.4 final drive
New OEM bearings
Exedy 9lb flywheel
New stock Type R clutch and T.O.B.
Mugen copy 4-1 header with 2.5" collector
test pipe with extra o2 bung
Espelir JGT500 cat back exhaust
Tuned by James Short using <CROME>
4K RPM launch control
shift light
9200RPM redline
The car has clean black clothinterior, floor mats, type r shift boot, ash tray, cup holder... Skunk 2 pro coilovers, 15" rota circuit 10's in sports bronze.
The car has a little less than 20k on the motor build now, and was supposed to have made 197 whp. The only test of speed it's had so far is my buddy's 98 GST that runs 13.9's. We made a couple of pulls from 60-120 ish and the two are pretty much dead even.
I am pretty happy so far, it's fun to drive and is almost to the point where I can paint it. I probably have less in the entire car than the previous owner had in the motor.

I'll have pics up next week, in the process of moving now. The car averaged 31.4 mpg on the last tank, which was probably a 50 50 mix of beating on it and just taking it easy.
