seibon ucket seat for autocross
Does anyone have experience with the seibon cf bucket seats? Are they comfortable?Do they hug your body well during hard cornering?I plan on using them for autocross but my car is also a daily driver so I want it to also be comfortable.THANKS
be prepared to bump up in class if the seat weighs less than 15lbs. I daily with a Sparco sprint, doesn't bother me one bit...
With any seat, its best to sit in one to try out. Different people with different body shapes and sizes fit in different seats...differently
I have yet to find any two people that fit exactly the same in any seat.

I just want to know if they have good padding or does it feel like Im sitting on a piece of plywood.By the pics supplied from Seibon,it just looks like a piece of cf with a seat cover.Doesnt really look like there is any padding between the cf and the cover. If there is any type of padding between them I think it would be fine,so does anyone know if there is?
if your looking for comfort look no further then Buddyclub. they have removable padded cushions, depending on your body type. im 195lbs 5'-6" and use the wide version. of the seat. i sat in someone memory fab seat yesterday when i took their car for a couple of laps around the coarse, and i couldnt stand the seat. it was for a skinny person, the bolsters dug into my sides, the padding isnt there. just very uncomfortable.
deff sit in as many seats as possible. to get a feel. but as ive said the buddy club is a decent comfort bucket.

The only race seat Ive sat in is a TenzoR seat and it SUCKS!!!Im debating between the Buddyclub and the Seibon seat.Ive heard good stuff about the buddyclub being comfortable but im really looking for a good cheap comfortable cf seat.

I am a prime example of that. I cant wait to remove my 3.5lbs of unwanted weight.

You need to figure out what you want in a seat. Racing seats have minimal padding so you can feel the car. Racing "inspired" seats have lots of padding but suck for feeling the car.
