Need help with audio... subs are not working
Problem: Subs are not working
I was moving my amp, and the [not good with elect. stuff so im gonna guess a name for it ] DC cord fell out [ wire that powers the amp and subs ]. So, I stuck it back in for a moment... It came back on... Fell out again, and I stuck it back in there again... but this time there was no sound. Little Green Light on amp is on, indicating power to the amp. So, is there a fuse thats runs the subs or ... what?
Appreciate the help.

okay, thanks for the pics, and dam I luvvvvvv some vtakkkkkkk. The fuse looks good even thou I don't reccommend using atc fuses for amps, Agu are better then those and I hate them, lol. have you check the sub with a small 9 volt battery to see if it moves or pops? Just tap it and see if it moves. Also did the rca come loose on the amp?
about to go find 9v battery. rca cords are in tackt.
but did u understand what i meant by "power cable coming loose?" i fell out once, i stuck it back in - subs were fine, fell out second time, and I stuck it back in, subs were not working. could i have fried it or something?

We are going to need a dvm, can you unplug the rca and see if the green light on the amps goes out. I want to rule out a bad ground. A amp will pull ground thru the rca's. And we need to test voltage at the amp.
Between fcm and me we should have this fixed quick.

Ditto that ^^^
Makes sense that if the power connection is bad so may be the ground, which probably means burnt signal return traces in the HU.
Set screw type connections suck, I hate them.
Hint, when using set screw connections, "tin", [sock in solder] the end of the lead/cable going into the set screw connector, this will make a much better connection, and use the correct gauge of wire/cable.

Well, I can assume that they went bad, because once I replaced them - subs started working.
Rewire whole car because, someone stole my car for 2 weeks they messed up bunch of crap. Now my fuses keep blowing, headlights arent working, ended up hotwiring that crap. And random wires tend to burn lol...
