i installed my struts about 6 months ago and i just noticed recently, after hearing a strange noise, that the nut on the top hat is loose as ****. this is an easy fix i'm just not sure if you're supposed to tighten them down completely (until the threading stops on the shaft) or just until it's tight. thanks in advance for any help.

 

put an allen wrench n the top of the shock rod n tighten the nut down til it.s tite. .glad u found the noise!!
