1989 crx si fuel tank question

Will the tank off a 87 hatch work for my 89 crx? the junkyards by my house dosent have any crx's but they have some hatches. any help will work.

i doubt it, 87 and earlier is a different gen. 88-91 is the ef generation. those years would be your best bet
