Default Honda Civic R18 mpg problem

I want to know why my mpg isn't the same as it use to be. before I modded my car with a catback exhaust I was getting 35 mpg, after the mod I got less then 25 mpg; which I didn't like so I took it off after 3 months. It's now been a week and I'm not getting the mpg I use to get. Any ideas?

Were you reving it up after installing the exhaust? Maybe it's due to the way you drive. How do you drive anyway?

normally with a catback exhaust you getter better airflow and that should give you an increase in mpg if it did anything. Most likely its the way you started driving once you got the cat back but i don't know i agree with the other guy let us now how you drive and if you changed anything.

My mpg with the catback actually went down even under normal driving habits. Now I've kept the rpm below 2300 most of the time.
