I have a b16a and there is a very distinct repetitious rattling around the injector area, i just had the valves adjusted and got brand new injectors and the problem didn't go away. I am coming to the conclusion it is the Lost Motion Assembly? It sounds like a bolt is rattling around in the intake. (I already check not one in there lol) It does it at idle for a few seconds...quits...then starts again. I hope its not a bent valve

Just changed my oil and I'm getting the same tick now that i wasn't before. and it's definitely full, lol...

I've had similar problems on my Chevy truck, it was just getting low pressure to the head because there was air trapped in the filter, I loosened it slightly with it running and a spray of air bubbles came out. Tried that on the car, no help what-so-ever

 

I have the same problem. It is definitely your Lost Motion Assembly. Very common for 1st Gen B16a.

 

Yeah, the more I look that's what I seem to be finding as a common consensus. Why would it start IMIDIATELY after an oil change?
