vdo xtreme 5in tach problems???
When I purschased the car almost 3 years ago it had a vdo tach mounted to the left side of the dash. I started messing with it one day and now its all messed up. When I turn the car on it reads 1k over of what my actual dash tach reads which is right. When I tap the gas it goes to like 4.5k when it really is only like 2.5k. crusing on the highway at about 3.5k the vdo tach is at like 10.5k. anyone know about these tachs its real annoying and about to get yanked out cause I dont even like it. I want the rpms to match my type r cluster rpms

hell yea i agree, honestly if you had some mythological setup that rev'ed up to 12 or 13K rpms in which the stock one would be obsolete then i would merit the use of an extra tach. on the other hand if the car doesn't rev that high the stock one is ample
