How do you guys deal with the heavy wind while riding? Once I hit 60+mph on the highway, I can barely stay upright for fear for being blown right off.
Just a couple of days ago, I was on the right lane of the NJ Parkway and a few riders came up to me. I was going about 65mph trying to battle the wind. They gave me a nod and they took off going like 100+. How can they do that?
They weren't even ducked down behind the windshield.

If it wasn't for the damn wind, there's be no stopping me!! ::Evil laughter::

the more you ride in the wind, eventually you will compensate for it without thinking.
i dont ride a lot when its really breezy. it can be fatiguing.

LOL you just hold on to your bike and hit the throttle all the way down, then after 200mph lift your head up! LOL JK. Well as long as u lay down on the tank and hold on u'll be ok. dont try to lift yourhead at 170. i did that 4 months ago the damn helmet almost broke my nose. i was in pain for a few days cuz it waslike some1punched me in my face hard! BTW I drive a modified ZX11R.
You just get used to it and when you really go at it you tuck behind the fairing. I did 175 indicated once with a backpack (talk about pull on the backpack though).
Side wind is more of an issue although the faster you go the more stable the bike is.

Hell, my shoei hasn't gotten any "character marks" yet
You'll get used to it after a while...if you think that's bad try riding a bike with no fairing at the same speeds
Side winds can be tricky, but keep your arms loose and countersteer and you'll do fine (again, it's something you get used to over time).
