00 b18c5 into 96 hatch ecu questions
Hi,
I'm just finishing up my swap. I'm waiting for a chipped p28 so no check engine light. But I was told to use a jdm itr ecu which will work better, and not have the check engine light. Any truth to this? Any other recomendations? Thanks!

I replied to you in the EG forum but. The JDm ECU will yank the fun @ 112-120 mph (And you will get there pretty quick). I was spanking a mustang on the highway when I found out the hardway and he thought he won.
If you don't care that the fun stops @ that speed then the ECu will work (I had to wire knock on my civic but its a 93 SI not sure how different the 96 DX's are?
