I have been following these instructions to help with the installation, but after reading a bit of the skunk 2 instructions [the one from their website] I'm a little confused.
The skunk2 guide says that you need to ziptie the EVAP purge control solenoid valve to the new intake. The ff-squad guide doesn't even mention the valve. Moreover, I'm not even sure if I have the valve.. let alone what it really looks like. It should connect to the charcoal canister right?
So.. the question is.. Do I need that valve?
I know where the PCV valve goes onto the new intake, but.. as for everything else.. I'm not 100% sure..
For instance, the FPR has two ends. The diagram shows where the vacuum hose for the top part goes, but not the bottom.
If anyone could post detailed pictures/diagrams of where all of these vacuum hoses go I'd really appreciate it.... because I'm [freak]ing lost.. I've tried searching, most of the archived pictures are no longer working.

The bottom hose for the FPR is the fuel line out to the gas tank return. The valve you are referring to I have successfully removed from several of my personal vehicles OBD0 and OBD1 without any check engine light. Most everything just needs vacuum connected to it, doesn't matter where you hook it up.
What engine is in the car? The EVAP purge solenoid is on the firewall if you are OBD-0. On OBD-1 it's on the intake manifold.
Also, the EVAP purge soleniod goes to the charcoal canister.
