Default Can I use a 98 GSR Brake booster and master cylinder in a 95 hatch?

Im currently parting a 98 GSR, but some of the stuff i plan on keeping and putting in my hatch shell. currently the shell has nothing in it and Id like to take as much stuff from the GSR out of it and put it in the hatch.

Has anyone worked this combo yet?

Yes you can. Usually you want to just use the master cylinder, which will bolt right in place without modification on some 92-95 civic models, others will require bending one of the hard lines that connect to it. The brake booster can be used but will space the master cylinder forward more, since the integra ones are bigger and both hardlines will need to be bent and adjusted a bit.

It depends on what year Integra the master cylinder comes from. A '98 to '01 brake master cylinder is just a bolt on. No lines need to be bent or cut and reflared.

If you try to swap in one from a '94 to '97, you'll have to bend the front and rear lines, and cut and reflare the rear line to use a M8 nut.

You still have to bend the front line from an angle to straight down. I just put on a 94-97 1" on my 95 EX, and my brother had a 98-00 that he brought over to compare. Mine required bending the rear to the other side, as well as reflairing to use the larger fitting.

The only real issue is bending/flairing/fitment. The 1st two depend on tools & skill, the last depends on whether you want to pull your manifold off or not. I have motor mount inserts, so my options were limited.

BTW its pointless to use a larger mc/bb unless you infact have larger caliper pistons. I upgraded to ITR calipers and 11.1" rotors at the same time.
