93 prelude,SI,4ws,p13 ecu,H23 blue top vtec...ok i just got my car out of the shop and i have a couple of problems... all of my clusters are going crazy.. the tach and speed are jumping but only when i step on the gas or brake. if i dont step on eather than thay drop to zero.. also my stero will only work when i dont hit the gas or brake, my temp gauge is all the way on hot,..and my throttle cable is getting hot like to the point to where it burnt the guy that was working on it... and my 4ws is not working..It didnt have these problems when i baught it in but thay did a engine swap and now i do...any ideas???

and it has such bad bogging that he had to adjust the exhaust cam all the way to the frount of the car (witch is retarted) but not quite shure...I hav'nt drove my car in mounths please help!!!!

 

sounds like a electrical short. i would take it back to the place that did the swap. as for moving the cam? Do you have adj cam gears or was it out of time or what? 'cause that doesn't make any sense.

 

maybe a bad ground and it is trying to use the throttle cable as one??? check the engine grounds.
