I have a 90' CRX Si mini-me with a Y8 head on it. Sometimes when I try to start it, it runs for a few seconds then shuts off. After this happens it takes a few minutes for it to start back up again. I never had a problem with it stalling as I was driving it. It only happens when I start it up. Would the stock fpr have something to do with this?

its your main relay. when you go to start your car it is not clicking on so you pump can prime. so then your car is running on the pressure in the fuel lines from when you last shut it off. watch neext time stop and listen for the humming sound of the pump and the click of the relay turning on then off

 

Couple questions; Is this relay for the fuel pump? If it wasn't working then how would it run at all? Where is the relay located?
