Water Leak
hi i was wondering some 1 might help me!. i have a 89 crx si and i have a horrible water leak on left side of the hatch i see the water getting in thru the shock.
If some 1 can help me ill appreciate it.

if by shock you mean the hatch support, it is most likely leaking from the drainage tracks on the roof. the black rubber strips on the roof, underneath is where 2 panels meet, and honda tack welds them together and then applies seam sealer to them to make them water tight. over time (20 years or so) the seam sealer dries up and cracks allowing water to get in.
to fix this problem, remove the rubber strips and apply some silicon or similar to the area and reinstall the rubber strips. if that doesn't fix it, i might be leaking from the rear wiper nozzel. to fix this remove the wiper nozzel and apply some clear silicon and reinstall.

I have also found my leak came from the rubber seal that wraps around the hatch. With time, that seal loses "crip". I used the fat plyers and squeezed the rubber seal tight to the metal lip of the hatch. (there's some sort of a metal clip incorporated into the seal). And as mentioned on top, the drainage hoses from the sun roof maybe bloqued.
