Stick-on "Paint" ? Anyone heard of this or know where to get it?
My buddy posted a link about some guys applying this stick-on "paint" in sheets of adhesive-backed material.
here's the link with some pics:

I wonder if this would be an easy way to get an older car freshened up without having to modify it. I want to paint my CRX but funds are short right now. This could be a nice temporary fix until I graduate and can afford a professional paint-job to get my rex looking like it rolled off the showroom floor.
what do you guys think?

I think that is freaking siiick.
Change your cars color whenever you get bored of it.
I'd just like to know how much one of these wraps costs.
This would be especially handy for driving long distances to meets.
You could get your car wrapped in this stuff in the same color as your car and not have to worry about your paint getting chipped on the drive there and back.
Looks pretty sweet to me.

2k seems like a pretty fair price. This seems like a pretty nifty idea to cover your car upon purchase and a few years down the road take it off and have a brand new car.
3M makes a clear bra film that seems to be similar but much more expensive.
