I went to the Generac 500 race at Road America last weekend. Got to see the Speed World Challenge, Formula Mazda, Formula BMW, GT Series, and ALMS race in one weekend, it was definitely one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. Just thought maybe you guys would appreciate some pics. I'm no professional but some of them are pretty cool.

My jaw was down the whole time... the SMOKING HOT PATRON GIRLS, all the cars, the new zr1, the insane power of lmp1 cars. I loved it.

 

Yeah that was my first time at a race like that and it was insane-that ZR1 was awesome those discs alone were bigger than the wheels on my autocross car, and thoses are stock, quite the machine. I loved the way those C6R's sounded and yeah those Audi's were very impresive to watch. I was also very happy with how Acura finished.

The Patron girls were definitely good looking but I think I creeped them out with my "how you doin" head nod.

 

haha yea I wonder how much they got hit on that weekend.

yea man I was rootin for acura and Aston martin all weekend. those corvets in gt1 dominated the competition and lapped the 3rd place Aston

 

Yeah too bad only one finished, I guess the C6R's team orders were to race against each other which surprised me but it looked like that might have been part of the reason one of them ended up off the track, and that 007 Aston wasn't looking good at all

 

the 007 aston didn't look 2 good but still finished alright. the silver aston took 2nd or 3rd in class which was cool 2 bad he was lapped by the z06's

 

Yeah, I'm sure the guy is a better driver than me but being lapped on a 4 mile track is pretty harsh, whatever, can't say I'd do any better if I were out there. However F-Body is supposed to be having another lapping day at RA in the next couple months and I may be out running. I already wanted to run RA for the longest time since I got into racing but after seeing it in person I gotta get on that track.
