Default No audio sound

Replaced my factory head unit with a Kenwood unit, and also had new speakers installed (no additional amps added). The unit worked great for like 3-4 mths. Now, I have no sound through the speakers. The head unit 'looks' like it's playing (equalizer is flashing as designed), but not one peep. I bought a different head unit, and again, no sound. Any thoughts? I heard something about some sort of 'factory' Bose amp that could of blown. If so, what's the best way of working around that, and how to do it? Please help....thanks!

maybe one of the speakers is shorting out, my driverside speaker was shorting on the window arm because the magnet was too big. When one speaker shorts out, they all stop playing. Try unplugging one speaker while leaving the rest in. If the others one play then theres a short on the speaker you've unplugged.
