Default how do you check the SRS light codes??

I looked in the FAQ but only saw a really old picless how-to on how to reset it which I dont need.

past few days my SRS light has been going on and off randomly in my 93 hatch and its really starting to irritate me. I wanna check and see what code it is apparently throwing so I can fix the issue outright but have no clue how.

anyone??

SRS light? I didn't know it could give off a code.

Do you mean CEL? or SRS?

Theres only one code thatc auses the SRS light to go off. One of your airbags is not working, or your wiring is bad. It doesn't blink codes like the CEL.

yeah SRS. well crap...

I only have the driver side airbag. and the code does go off and on. I'll have to make sure the clip to the airbag in the steering wheel is making full contact.

I have had the column dropped a few times in the past few months.

kinda weird though that it'll go on and off...

well if you only have one airbag, that might cause your light to blink on and off. but definitely check your connection to your airbag and trace all your wires back to the unit as well as your fuses one may be busted or something ya never know.

I meant that to read as I only have a driver air bag because mine is a 93 civic which doesnt have the passenger airbag
