92 Eg hatch wont fire 4th cyl.
I got my civic started the other day but it was only running on 3 cyl. the fourth cyl wont fire. i got new plugs, wires, dizzy and injector and it still wont fire. i can pull the plug out when its running and thats how i kno its the fourth. im not sure what the problem is. Anyone?
its a z6 if that matters.

it was working b4 i replaced it but then i let it sit for a few months and when i tried to start it it wouldnt. it took a while but i got it started and thats when i found it was only running on three cylinders i started replaceing stuff. i think it might be a stuck valve but i dont kno how to check for that.
how about check for the 2 main things that say if that cylender can fire, whats the compression? or even easier check for spark on that cylender, if it passes take a screw driver to the inejctor body, and the other end to ur ear, and listen to the clicks, compare it to other known good cylenders, to find out if the fuel injector is moving, if it sat it may be stuck, if thats the case let me know,

a replacement for 30? have you even been to a pick and pull? that would be like a lot more.... its still a head. come on now lol.
check compression (if you can), and your fuel injector wires (one leads to signal the other i believe is ground.). since you got new injectors id assume the ohms are within spec. but check em out (haynes/helms...or search for specs.) i doubt it could be a stuck valve.
check for spark- (unplug fuel injector clips) take out a spark plug (#4 for you, attached to the plug wire and everything) put the lash on your head and crank the motor...it should spark (if not check signal from your ecu to the dizzy, since you got a new distributor id assume thats solid.)
check for compression - get a compression gauge ($15 at napa...half the price of a junkyard head!!!LOL!) warm up your motor. and check across all cylinders 200ish...
fuel (my way) -take out the fuel rail with the injectors attached, put a piece of cardboard infront of the injector nozzle. crank the motor. look for fuel on the cardboard. if you have 4 fuel marks...you got fuel. (maybe not the proper amount but your injector functions)
not the best explanation but maybe it will help

didnt see he said got new injectors, all injectors are controlled by the ecm on the ground side, they always have power, the ground is whats switched. compression check, the throttle is supposed to be held open so more air can get in, but most people ignore that step.
and why the hell does he need a head if no one has confirmed yet that he has fuel or spark on that cylinder?

I try not to be an ******* on here, but dude, you can't post **** like that. I have yet to even see a cracked head go for that cheap, and a VTEC head at that will probably run him way more. There are several things that can cause a cylinder to misfire, a "bad head" is only one of them.
Anyways, I'd do a compression test on it before anything.
Is it smoking? White smoke and/or blue smoke are tell-tale signs of a blown head gasket, but just because it's smoking doesn't mean the head gasket is blown.
Is there a CEL?
You can check for spark by holding the tip of the spark plug to the valve cover (while it is connected) and looking for spark between the electrodes. Also make sure your spark plug is gapped to correct specs, I believe it is .040" but do not quote me on this.
