OMP seats?
Anybody use them? They look to be of good quality and the one im looking at is fia approved(not sure if it is the proper approval?). I was curious if anyone on here uses one or has any input.
Here is the model im looking at.

Great seats and legal for most all types of racing in North America when installed properly.
Please though, support a H-T vendor.

You will hate tubular seats the day you will try a fiberglass or carbon/kevlar seat.
I have an omp grip and it follows me everytime i change my car...
I have a sparco pro2000 too, it's great, but not as great as the omp grip !
OMP seats are very good seat on par with most big names like sparco, recaro, racetech, kirkey etc...forget the JDM non fia brand...they're just hype...

I actually do not mind tubular seats, but only if they fit. If they don't fit they can be pretty uncomfortable.
I have a pair of OMP Extras (tube frame, larger size) in the Integra rally car. I actually think I prefer them to the Sparco EVO 2's I have in the Civic rally car. We spend a lot of time in the seats, so we're pretty intimate and familiar with the fit/quality.
I also have a smaller, less expensive OMP in the CRX, which I don't care for, mostly because it is too small.
How big are you? I might be able to make a recommendation.

Destroyer: You definately don't want the Extra, or EVO 2 or any of the bigger seats. You should fit perfect in any of the normal sized ones from OMP, Sparco, etc. which are designed for thinner guys.
Unrealwrc: You're going to be right on the cusp of going with Extra, Big, Evo 2 or Evo L. When I first got the seats I was probably about 250 with a 40" waist, but they also fit me great down to 215 36 waist. A lot of smaller guys say that the seats Evo2's and OMP extra are very, very comfortable on them as well, I think because it isn't pressing them in tightly, no real pressure points. I'd have to say though that because it is borderline, you may want to try some on before you buy.
