In my original post, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2346167, I described how stupid these guys are. Seems it's gotten worse. The brand new radiator (as of 7 months ago) was installed without any bushings on the bottom. As a result, the bottom of the radiator vibrated against the metal down there, which has worn a hole in the bottom. So again I have antifreeze all over my parking lot. So my question, should I attempt to take it back to them and have them replace the radiator for free? Or should I just accept the fact that they are retarded, buy a new radiator, and eat the $300?

 

You have proof that they [freak]ed up and missed out an important part of the radiator. Radiator's should last 5 years atleast ffs. Damn right you should take it back. Just get a letter from a liscenced mechanic (honda would likely due this for you for free) stating that they believe due to the fact that your radiator shop installed it improperly, that it failed prematurely.

Otherwise being that its warrenty is gone probably, you will likely have to eat that 300 dollars.

I would take it to Honda (or something equally reputable) and see if they will look at it and give you their opionions. If they feel you have a case give it a shot. Threaten with bbb if you got too. These cheese dink shops need to get put down and out.

 

Good luck trying to get a shop to refund their work.

I would just eat the money and never go to that shop again.
