Default whats the difference between a 98 rs and a 98 ls

hey im looking for a integra right now and im thinking of buying this guys rs but all my friends are telling me not to get a rs and just get a ls. is RS bad? please help me out. i need to know the difference.

rs no sunroof
ls has more power options

same motor just different power options, its like comparing a cx to a dx pretty much

x2 rs was the the base model...

One of the most notable differences is the RS is not ABS equipped and the LS is.

so this means the LS is more safe.

Not really. There are too many variables to consider to make any accurate assumptions one way or another. Personally I feel much safer threshold braking in a non-ABS car as I can maintain stability in my foot and lock up on command. It really all comes down to the driver.

oh i see. is there a big difference with abs and no abs??

and any more other differences between the rs and ls? what should i get??

You should get the cheapest one you can find that has all the features that are actually important to you, and not care what the submodel actually is. Unless we're talking about a GSR or Type-R, the only differences between the other submodels are things that should have been options (and not worth giving the car a different name over).

I'm glad I have the ABS... I would have been in two accidents by now if it wasn't equipped with ABS. It does come down to personal preference.
